SPECTACULAR! Best 3D movie I've ever seen - based on both the content as well as the cinematography that exploited IMAX / 3D technology to the absolute max. I was just expecting a really good surfing movie - but got an intriguing, insightful and captivating (dare I say even educational?) documentary all about big ocean waves and the culture of the Tahitian Islanders - with stunning graphics that would make National Geographic proud. What an experience! Tahiti is one of the most majestic place on earth and could only truly be represented by an IMAX 3D film. Everything above and below the water just came to life in such a surreal way. I never imagined a film quite like The Ultimate Wave Tahiti. The combination of Kelly Slater, Teahupoo, IMAX and 3D could be the perfect storm. A must see for anyone with appreciation for sport, science, culture and the ocean.
